The original batch of PVR's had a faulty chip that *might* have caused errors in systems with
certain clock speeds. DPS sent me a recall notice to this effect and said that even if my
system wasn't a candidate for trouble (it wasn't), they still didn't want any potentially bad
boards floating around to cause problems in future machines. They also said the new boards
weren't ready but would be soon. Two weeks later, they practically rammed a replacement board
down my throat, and even cross-shipped it so I wouldn't have any down time. Talk about service!
